[科研] 近几年主持科研课题6项（包括湖南省自然科学基金，教育部基金及比尔盖茨基金项目等）。利用斑马鱼及转基因鼠、免疫调节细胞以及干细胞开展肾脏疾病的研究工作。
[论文/论著] 近几年来以第一作者/通迅作者发表SCI论文10余篇。目前为10种国外医学杂志SCI的审稿专家，3种国外医学杂志的编委。
